I highly recommend the Flower Code training to those seeking a deeper relationship with the plant world and its devas, a connection and communion with the natural world, and the ancient wisdom that lies within us, waiting to be discovered. I learned and discovered so much during this training that I didn’t even expect at first. I had the opportunity to participate in The Shamanic Herbalism Apprenticeship Pathways 1 and 2 in person with Heidi. Over 5 months a small group of local women met to journey together which created a long-lasting connection. Whilst I was first drawn to the apprenticeship to deepen my plant spirit connection and learn more about herbalism, after the first couple of weeks I realised it was going to be that and a whole lot more! Heidi’s gift for holding space and providing a safe, nurturing environment to surrender and share allowed me to drop into self-discovery on a whole new level. The birth work in particular unravelled parts of my psyche – deep rooted wounding’s and birth imprints that had been unconsciously playing out in my life showed themselves. Whilst working with the beautiful plant allies, with grace and gratitude I gave respect and reverence to the parts of me which were once hidden and with courage and awareness I was able to transform these challenging stories into long lasting medicine. Along with the deep inner work that beautifully unfolded, overall Pathways 1 and 2 was a fun, embodied and playful experiential journey, with deep nature connection, journeying, shared experiences and practices, and unfiltered honest group sharing. “I found Heidi’s wellspring journeys profoundly healing on a personal and cultural level. I had never done something like this before, because I am very cautious about how white Australians navigate the cultural wound in and on this land, when operating in these animistic realms. However, I felt extremely safe in Heidi’s ability to hold cultural respect for this land, its people’s and the history that’s occurred here, as well as hold respect and reverence to the lands where the waters had come from. It was an amazing opportunity to make contact with the lands of my ancestors which I have been deeply longing for, without having to physically travel there.
